Dollar Tree Makeover- Piggy Bank

I Love these cute chalkboard piggy banks from Circo so much that I decided to make my own with ceramic piggy bank from Dollar Tree and a bottle of Chalkboard paint. Here are the before and after pictures of Little Piggy.

Design Detective Case #1: Pillow Talk

MISSION

to transform this rag rug to something fabulous.  I spotted this rug at the Dollar Tree and wanted to create something gorgeous for the home. So, I decided to transform it to a lovely no sew textured accent pillow .

Materials needed:

1. Safety pins:

2.small pillow

3.rag rug

Instructions:

* Before beginning wash the rug according to the instructions.

1.  Fold rug in half

2. pin both sides of rug ( I used between five and six safety pins on both sides)

3. flip inside out

It looks like it was sewn. Isnt it wonderful?

3. stuff pillow in rug

4. pin the bottom  (I used about 7 pins)

And there it is..... I beautiful pillow for your home.

* Add vintage pins or flowers onto pillow. Here is my final product.
